The two, Lil Nikko and Iron Myke, are part of Money Addicted Pimpz (Madd-P). The determination of the young men can be shown through multiple aspects of their lives. As high school football players, they assisted their team in winning a championship. After high school, both men went to Killeen, Texas, to pursue a career in arena football. As they got more involved in their passion for music, the influence of the underground Texas movement led them to meet DJ Woody Wood, who helped them get their start with the music industry in 2008. They left their positions on the field and moved into Wood’s in-house studio in Austin, Texas, where they recorded three to five songs a day for months. During their short stay in Austin, TX, Madd-P was nominated at the "Austin Hip-Hop Awards". This is an annual event held in Austin, TX for up and coming underground artist, producers, and DJs. The group is based out of Dallas, Texas, where they have created hits such as, “I Dont Want Yo Girl” Featuring Big Tuck (DSR/Universal) & "Get Yo Money” featuring Fat B a.k.a Fat Bastard (DSR/Universal) which can also be found on MySpace Music, eMusic, iTunes, Rhapsody, IMVU, Zune, CDBaby, and Amazon, just to name a few places. They released their first mix-tape “If You Hate You a Hata” in August of 2008. Their CD “Definition of Swagg” was released in June 2009.
